What a incredible time at Iford Arts performing Rosmira in Handel’s Partenope.
I’m so glad I had the chance to perform in this gorgeous venue before the company moves on to new pastures… I already miss my fellow cast members, technical crew, wardrobe extraordinary (for those who have asked, it was a wig- not my actual hair!) and such a supportive band and audiences!

A huge thanks also to director Christopher Cowell and to Christopher Bucknall for their advice, support, banter and mentoring both musically and dramatically in what has been my biggest role to date. As a young artist, it’s so important to have the necessary mentoring to allow room for creativity (but not too loose to allow one to go astray!)
“Beth Margaret Taylor with the plum role of Rosmira -Handel always gives his best stuff to the wronged woman- made the most of it with a rounded, heartfelt performance that really made you want to rescue her from the frightful Arsace”
